This honey is also particularly effective externally. Thanks to its natural antibacterial action and healing properties, Manuka honey is perfect for treating inflammation and small wounds. It soothes, purifies, and supports the natural recovery of the skin. But it's also wonderful for nourishing and hydrating the skin.

Tip for use: apply the honey as a mask to acne, eczema, or rosacea. Leave it on for at least 30 minutes and repeat regularly until the skin visibly improves. A gentle, natural way to support the skin without over-stressing it.

The enzymes help shed dead skin cells, making the skin smoother and fresher without scrubbing or irritation.

How to use
Take a tablespoon a day. Eat it as is, put it in a smoothie, your tea or juice.
You can also use it as a face mask for irritated, inflamed skin, such as acne and eczema. If you leave it on for at least 30 minutes, the antibacterial effect will be even more effective.

Extra tips
Each of our pots depicts a variety of native birds. They are the tangible result of Tahi’s successful conservation work. Before our restoration project began, there were only 20 species of birds at Tahi; now there are 71, including 25 rare and endangered species.
By purchasing our Mānuka honey you are directly and actively contributing to our award-winning biodiversity restoration.

Kōtare, the plant protector
