Collection: Connective tissue massage

Facial muscles lose strength and the skin becomes slack. Connective tissue is produced less, as a result the wrinkles and lines will become more visible. Toxins increase and thus accelerate the aging.

What is connective tissue?

Connective tissue is an important part of the body and especially the skin, it is the tissue that protects your organs and determines their shape and mobility. So it gives your body shape and it gives the skin firmness.

Connective tissue massage for the face

A connective tissue massage combines stroking and pressure techniques to stimulate collagen. Collagen provides firmness and more contour. The firm massage also stimulates blood circulation, which allows your skin to better absorb nutrients and remove waste products.

With our Gua Sha stones you can do this yourself at home, see below for the offer.

Connective tissue massage for the legs

In addition to the face, the legs can also benefit from a connective tissue massage. During the massage, much is loosened, inflammation can be softened and toxins are drained. With daily use, massage will reduce cellulite.

How do you use a Gua Sha Stone?

Start by cleansing the skin and then apply a La Twist Oil before the massage, so the Gua Sha stone can easily glide over the skin. Place the stone at a 45 degree angle on the skin, this ensures sufficient contact. Then make a gliding movement over the skin and repeat each movement 5 to 10 times.
The enclosed manual from La Twist describes exactly how the Gua Sha stones can best be used on the face.
There are 2 different techniques: contouring & lifting and lymphatic drainage.
