Collection: Najel Aleppo

Aleppo soap is made using traditional methods and is the oldest type of soap.

This soap is so natural that it is 100% biodegradable. It is therefore not only very good for the health of your skin, but also for the environment. It is so mild that it also has a soothing effect on eczema and psoriasis.

Since 1895, the Al Najjar family has been making authentic Aleppo soap, soap based on olive oil and laurel oil and the predecessor of the famous Marseille soap. The production process has been passed on from generation to generation with the help of traditional knowledge.

Despite the unrest in the country, some of the soap factories still exist in the city of Aleppo, in northern Syria. Part of the production process has moved to Turkey and France, where they have also established their company.

Although the solid Aleppo soaps are still the heart of the range, the family business has enriched the range with a wide range of natural and organic cosmetics developed in its own laboratory in Lyon. Under the brand name Najel they offer natural beauty care for the entire body. They use gentle and organic ingredients as much as possible. Many products are also EcoCert certified.
