Palo Santo is a mystical tree that grows on the coast of South America and is botanically related to frankincense, myrrh, and copal. In Spanish, the name means 'Holy Wood' or 'Tree of Life'. Palo Santo has traditionally been burned during sacred rituals and has long been used to cleanse stagnant energy, uplift the spirit, and create space for focused intention.

This Palo Santo wood is ethically harvested in collaboration with an indigenous family from the Chiclayo region in Northern Peru.

How to use

Use a candle, match, or lighter to light your Palo Santo stick. Hold it at about a 45 degree angle with the tip pointing downward toward the flame. Let it burn for about 30 seconds to 1 minute, then blow it out. When you are finished purifying the space you wish to purify, place the smoldering stick in a fireproof bowl made of metal, glass, or clay. The stick will naturally extinguish. Always be careful and respectful when working with fire.
